Building Christian Ministries is a non-profit organization based in Blairsville Georgia. The purpose of this ministry is to carry out charitable work for the Lord Jesus Christ, while spreading his love and salvation around the world.
The Bible tells us “And if thy brother be waxen poor and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea though he be a stranger or a sojourner that he may live with thee.” Leviticus 25:35
This scripture encourages us to be mindful of others who do not have the vast opportunities to worship the Lord or even hear about his gospel. Building Christian Ministries has taken this charge to heart with the understanding that God will provide where there is faith.
We believe that by first meeting the physical needs of children throughout the world we can also meet the spiritual needs and uplift the name of the Lord.
While on this earth, Jesus walked among the sick and afflicted, healing their wounds and showing them the love of his Father. He chose this path so that others may receive salvation and the Lord would be glorified. We also must be willing to sacrifice our time and talents to help the poor and afflicted in other nations as well as our own. Children are hungry for the love of Jesus Christ. These children form close bonds with missionaries that help them fulfill their physical needs of food, shelter, and basic safety. These bonds hold a strong tie as they are anchored in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through these marvelous relationships children are able to hear the gospel of the Lord and understand the need for Him in their lives, ultimately leading more souls to Christ so that none shall perish.
