The Genesis House

Genesis House is a shelter for homeless young adults located in Manaus Brazil and surrounding areas.  One target area is partnering with local orphanages such as The Father’s Heart to provide services to the children turning 18 and no where to go when required by law to leave after their 18th birthday.  Genesis House will provide guidance to these young people allowing them to become responsible adults while living in a safe and loving environment. 

Our company supports this nonprofit organization and would encourage you to contribute by giving through the QR code for Building Christian Ministries (BCM).  BCM is a registered 501c3 and provides 100% of all donations to the ministries they support including the Genesis House. 

For three years in a row, they have received requests to rescue teenagers and pregnant teenagers, but since they did not have the appropriate structure, they always had to say no. On June 12, they welcomed two ladies whose stories were not shared, but are one of abuse, according to Vania. On June 13, another request to rescue 3 ladies who are pregnant by their relatives (such as father, uncle, stepfather…). Unfortunately, this situation worsened with the pandemic and people locked inside their homes. They do not want to have an abortion, but to give the babies to be adopted, and because of that are forced to hear untoward comments.

God opened a huge door and Vania’s prayer request came true: now they have a place where these girls can go and be safe. It is a block of separate houses where these girls can now go and not be sent to the streets.
